Jeff Norton

Executive Producer & Founder, Dominion of Drama

Jeff is an award-winning author and executive producer with deep experience creating content at the intersection of book and screen. He has developed, produced and shepherded hundreds of hours of content to the screen, ranging from pre-school to primetime. He is the founder of new IP company Dominion of Drama, which has scripted shows set up on both sides of the Atlantic.

Recently, Jeff executive produced Susan Hill’s Ghost Story for Channel 5 in co-production with Two Rivers Media. Jeff has created shows for CBC, S4C, Incendo, EQ Media Group, and Freedom Scripted. He recently optioned the rights to the best-selling Amy Winter crime novels which he is developing for Rainmaker Content with RubyRock Pictures.

A prolific author, Jeff has published ten novels including the upcoming Dino Knights series for young people, which is currently in development with The Jim Henson Company and OmniFilm Entertainment. His upcoming book is a taut contemporary political thriller called Delenda which Jeff is adapting for television.

Originally from Canada, Jeff moved to the UK in 2006 when he joined Chorion Ltd. as SVP of Brand Development. Previously he worked in Hollywood in creative development where he produced the award-winning Choose Your Own Adventure interactive DVD movie. Before moving into entertainment, Jeff was a brand executive at Procter & Gamble in Toronto and later in Cincinnati. Jeff studied Film & Commerce at Queen’s University in Canada and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School.
