Heather Jones

As Senior Vice President of Content and Creative for the EMEA region, Heather oversees the strategy and execution of the programming, marketing, creative, digital, communications and research functions for the region. Additionally serving as General Manager UK with responsibility for all aspects of the business across the company’s UK operation and portfolio of channels including HISTORY, Crime+Investigation and free to air brand Blaze.

Heather is the key EMEA partner to all A+E Networks International channels; leading on new shows and formats that originate in the UK and plays a central role in developing and executing international events and co-productions.

Most recently Heather’s commissioning strategy led to UK commission Al Murray’s Why Does Everyone Hate the English winning the Gamechanger award at the 2019 Broadcast Digital Awards.

Heather began her career as a TV producer and director of kids and youth programming.
