Orf joined Everyone TV (formerly Digital UK) in April 2022 and is responsible for leading the Technology team, setting the team’s strategic direction and driving the technical development and operation of our consumer-facing Freeview and Freesat products.
Prior to this, Orf served as the CTO at Channel 4, with responsibility for a range of functions encompassing Broadcast and IT Strategy and Services.
During his time at Channel 4, Orf was instrumental in the design and launch of a number of industry-leading innovations, including the world’s first Broadcaster VoD platform, All4 (formerly 4oD), and the channel’s market-leading move into ‘big data’ processing and personalisation.
Orf has also acted as a Board Director for the DPP and a DTG (Digital Television Group) Council member, and continues to chair the DTG’s Technology Steering Group.
